Welcome to Sand Bar. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of sandbarathens.com (the “Site”) and the products, services, and experiences we offer, including drinks, private events, gift cards, promotions, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Sand Bar is owned and operated by Hospitality South LLC (“Sand Bar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), with its principal place of business at 220 College Ave, Athens, GA 30601.
By accessing the Site or using any of our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our Services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. You must be 21 or older to enter Sand Bar and to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these age requirements. We reserve the right to refuse service or entry to anyone for any lawful reason, including failure to verify age.
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:
If we offer account-based services through the Site or a third-party platform, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us right away if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Sand Bar is a walk-in bar. We do not take general reservations for nightly visits. Service is first come, first served, subject to capacity, age verification, and our right to refuse service or entry for any lawful reason.
Large groups, holidays, special events, and gameday weekends may require advance arrangements, a credit card hold, a minimum spend, or a cancellation fee. Specific policies will be disclosed at the time of booking. Private events and buyouts are governed by a separate agreement (see Section 7).

Prices shown on the Site, on third-party platforms, on printed menus, on chalkboards, and on signage are provided for informational purposes and may not always reflect the current price. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the point of sale at the time you place the order.
If a price is listed incorrectly due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel the order, even after the order has been confirmed or charged. In that case, we will issue a full refund.
Some items may be unavailable due to supply issues, sell-outs, vendor delays, or event-specific service. We do our best to keep our menus current but cannot guarantee the availability of any item.
Photos of drinks and the bar on the Site and in our marketing are for illustration only. Garnish, glassware, and presentation may vary.
From time to time we run promotions, happy hour deals, daily specials, contests, and other limited offers. Each offer has its own terms, which will be made available at the time of the offer. Unless stated otherwise:
Private events, semi-private buyouts, and full-venue rentals are subject to a separate event agreement that governs deposits, minimums, cancellation, beverage selections, service charges, and other terms. The terms of the event agreement control in case of any conflict with these Terms.
Gift cards may be purchased through the Site or in person. Gift cards are non-refundable, may not be redeemed for cash (except where required by law), and are subject to the additional terms printed on the card or provided at purchase. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.
Sand Bar serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with Georgia state law and local ordinances. We do not knowingly serve alcohol to anyone under 21, to anyone who is visibly intoxicated, or to anyone who refuses to provide valid identification. We reserve the right to refuse service, request identification, or remove any guest at any time.
Guests are responsible for their own conduct and for arranging safe transportation home. Sand Bar encourages all guests to drink responsibly and to use rideshare or designated drivers when needed.
If you post a review, photo, comment, tag, or other content on our social media, on a review platform, or directly on the Site, you grant Sand Bar a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display that content in connection with our business and marketing, including on our website, social media, advertising, and printed materials, with appropriate credit where reasonable.
You represent that any content you post is your own original work, does not violate anyone’s rights, and complies with the platform’s rules and applicable law. We may remove or refuse to use any content at our discretion.
The Site and its content, including text, photos, illustrations, logos, brand marks, menus, recipes, descriptions, software, and design, are owned by Sand Bar or our licensors and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. The Sand Bar name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Hospitality South LLC. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
The Site may link to or integrate with third-party services, including payment processors, social media platforms, and analytics tools. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, products, services, or practices of third parties.
THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR THAT IT WILL BE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
We make reasonable efforts to disclose allergens and ingredients in our drinks, but we cannot guarantee that any item is free from cross-contact with allergens. Guests with allergies or dietary restrictions should speak with a manager before ordering. We are not liable for adverse reactions to ingredients or allergens.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAND BAR, HOSPITALITY SOUTH LLC, AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations on liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sand Bar, Hospitality South LLC, and our officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site or Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, the Site, or our Services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Athens-Clarke County, Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice (such as a banner on the Site or an email). Your continued use of the Site or Services after the changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other agreements we provide to you in writing, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sand Bar regarding the Site and Services. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time.
